Contemporary furniture is close in relation to modern but without the starkness. Comfort is the primary goal with this style, so look for deep and large scale pieces.
ACCESSORIES
Artwork, unusual lamps, track lighting, large and dramatic floral displays grace the rooms. Glass, metal, stone and fabrics give the Contemporary style depth and texture.
FABRICS
Contemporary fabrics range from wools to cottons. Natural fabrics give the room a textural image. Large paterns and geometric shapes are used in accent pillows for visual impact.
COLOR
The colors range from neutral of greens, blues, beiges and grays are some of the colors, and bold color for an accent color to enhance architectural details. Accent architectural elements with contrasting color for a strong focal point.
