FURNITURE

Modern furniture is a combination of clean lines and unique shapes.  Furniture is streamlined and upholster in leathers, fabrics and plastics.  Tables are generally chrome with glass tops, but sleek wood design are popular. Colors are generally neutral, but there are the bursts of color in chairs and sofas.

ACCESSORIES

These range from solid neutral to bold bright colors in vases, area rug and lamps.  Artwork has bold shapes, colors and designs.  All the accessories maintain the clean and unique shapes common in modern house furniture pieces.  Window treatments are usually vertical or horizontal blinds of neutral colors to blend; rather than show.  Floral arrangements are sparse and minimal in design.

FABRICS

The fabrics are material, leathers, plastic; some plain and others with strong geometric shapes.

COLOR

A neutral palette prevails with modern design, yet strong and bold colors are used to delineate areas in large open loft spaces.  Color also accents architectural elements which are part of any design style.
