INTERIOR DECORATING

There are many phases of interior decorating.  The initial meeting where the client tells you what they would like to achieve.  Then the design process of translating the client's suggestions to paper and adding in the elements and color.  Next is the concept phase when the plan is presented to the client and for their comments and suggestions.  Then the finalization of the design,approval and project scheduling.  The client is keep up-to-date on every aspect of the project and involved in the purchasing of furniture and accessories.

COLOR CONSULTATION

Choosing colors can be a daunting experience - especially if you are not sure which colors you want for your home.  Colors are part psychology and part personal preference.  Another consideration is the type of lighting in the room.  does it receive bright sunlight or dim interior lighting?  And, of course, the decor, furniture and fabrics all play a part in color decisions.  Colors can create soothing or exciting environments and make us feel comfortable in our surroundings.  I can assist with color choices for a single room or a complete home or office environment.

REDESIGN & HOME STAGING

Home Staging is the process of making a home ready for sale.  With the competition for selling homes growing you need to have your home ready to sell at the highest price and fastest sale turnaround.  This can be achieved by using home staging.  The process is to go through the home and make a list of what needs to be fixed, cleaned or removed from each room.  This is also done to the outside of the home.  Why the outside?  Because this is the first place a prospective buyers sees when they pull up in front of your home.  The list is then given to the homeowner to complete or I can be hired to complete the work.  Remember...prospective home buyers make their buying decisions within 5 seconds of walking into a house .

The cost for drawings, concepts and plans are part of the design process, but if they are requested prior to contract signing a fee will be charged.. The fee will then be deducted when the contract is signed and the deposit is made.
